We have been hearing about your marriage for quite long enough, and also that you are planning your marriage after your completion of the two Telugu films you are commited now? How true is he news?
This is yet another rumour spread by unknown elements from the film industry. At present, acting is my only concern and I have no time to think about marriage. The gossips started to flow when I planned to visit my brother living in UAE. The very same rumour
was spread then, but I was so busy with my shooting schedules that I could not forsee this as an threat. Now the same news is spread again. I don't have any idea, what I'm going to do with this problem. The best way to get rid of this problem is to ignore it. That's what I'm doing now.
Will you also consider to act in glamour roles?
First of all, my father did not like me coming into the film industry. Only after my promise of not doing glamour roles in the film, did he let me into this field, I do not want to step away from my promise nor do I like to do glamour stuff. I want to be an example to others by accomplishing good name in the homely characters alone.
Could you discuss with us about Your role in Aayudham?
I am starring as a Brahmin girl in the film. Though I was not born in that community, I am pretty much proud of myself that I got the chance to appear in a Brahmin character. Prashanth stars opposite to me in the film.
Why is there a lot of gap inbetween your film's?
Well, I choose the films based on my character. Instead of appearing in many films and becoming unpopular for want of money, I always prefer good roles instead. That is the reason behind my thin attendance in the film industry.
Could you tell us about your experience with Padmashree Kamalahassan?
I should say that I'm really a gifted person to act along with a legend such as Kamal Hassan. I'm a big fan of kamal and will not miss any of his films from my childhood days. While working with him in "Vasool Raja MBBS", he taught me many things regarding acting. I am very much eager to do more roles with him.
You have appeared in a horror film "Athu", which talks about evil spirits. Are you not aware that your image might be spoiled because of this?
Many raised this same question before and I had given them their answers. There is no way that my image is spoiled because of my character in the film. There are many heroines who had already done their roles in various films similar to this. I would say that to act in such movies is really a thrilling experience, and there is no way that I would compromise on such a movie.
What about the rest of the gossips circling around you in the cine industry? There are a lot of things which are pouring in about you?
In general actors and actress' would always expect that there should be some news appearing about them in the cine industry. If anything about them appear in the gossip column, they would not mind much. Similarly the press and the media would love to publish news about actor's and actress'. Like you see our fans know our car number better than us because of the media hovering around us. So, the same thing is happening in my case. I couldn't conrol the flow of news around me.

Sneha completes 50 films!
With a cameo in the film ‘Kuselan’ starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, Sneha will complete fifty films. Sneha has been part of many Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. The actress was spotted by the director Fazil and that started her career in the year 2001 with the Malayalam film titled ‘Engane Oru Nila Pakshi’ which is directed by Anil Babu. Sneha is a Telugu girl born in Mumbai and brought up in Dubai.
She acted in the Tamil film titled ‘Anandam’ opposite Abbas which was a big hit. Then she got many offers from Tamil and Telugu. Sneha has acted with almost all the actors including Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Mammootty, Suriya, Vikram and Ajith. She is currently acting in the bilingual film ‘Vande Matharam’ with Mammootty and in ‘Achchamundu Achchamundu’ with Prasanna which is being shot in US.

The Tamil thriller ‘Achchamundu Achchamundu’ is directed by Arun Vaidyanathan starring Prasanna, Sneha and John Shea, Hollywood actor, in the lead roles. Talking about the film Sneha says that the film says that she was excited and impressed by the new director’s style that combined Kollywood and Hollywood skillfully.
She said that she was overwhelmed with the efficiency of the American technical crew. The film is almost shot in New Jersey. The director is confident that the film would do a good business at the box office. Music is scored by Karthik Raja.
Sneha comes out of Jaggubhai
The cute actress Sneha signed a film titled ‘Jaggubhai’ to play the female lead in the film opposite Sarath Kumar. Now it seems that the actress is out of the project. The sources say that Sneha was supposed to play the mother role to Shriya, which has driven her to come out of the project.
'Jaggubhai' is penned by Ravikumar for the Superstar Rajinikanth. But the project was shelved a few years ago after Rajini expressed his desire to start the project. So Ravikumar was forced to work with Sarath Kumar for the film. Sneha is currently busy acting in 'Achchamundu Achchamundu' opposite Prasanna. The shooting for the film is taking place in USA.

There were talks that the 'Spiderman' fame William Tafe would don the baddie in the film. But due to some reasons he could not act in the film. Finally the Hollywood actor John Shea, who is an Emmy Award winner, has been signed up to play the baddie in the film. The actress is yet to respond. Kalanjiyam is making the film 'Kalagam' in which Dalit Panther's leader Thriumavalavan is acting. The shooting for the film will start by the end of January. But it is not known whether Kalanjiyam would act in 'Kalagam'.

The film is a family entertainer. Hitesh Jabak is a distributor who distributed the film 'Ghajini'. He earlier produced the film 'Naan Avan Illai' starring Jeevan in the lead role. Now Hitesh is currently busy producing 'Anjathey' which is directed by Mysskin starring Narain in the lead role. 'Pandi' stars Lawrence, Sneha in the lead roles. Namitha plays a key role in the film. Nasser, Ganja Karuppu and Saranya are also among others in the cast. Music is scored by Srikanth Deva. Hitesh is confident that the film will do well.
Sneha replaces Kamalini
Due to unavoidable circumstances, Sneha has now replaced Kamalini Mukherjee in director Karu Pazhaniappan's film ‘Pirivom Sandipom’ with actor Cheran essaying the lead role. Sneha had earlier played dual role in the film ‘Parthipan Kanavu’ by the same director.
It was during its shooting that she met with an accident. When the doctors advised her to be in bed rest for six months, the director, without any second thoughts, immediately postponed the shooting. Actor Sneha cited this as a reason for agreeing to perform in ‘Pirivom Sandhipom’.
Sneha signs movie with Shaam
Shaam and Sneha are already worked together for the movies like Hey Nee Romba Azhaga Irukae and ABCD. The pair is going to appear together again in the movie named Sivam. Sivam is the renamed title of the movie Thooral.
Shaam is right now working for the movie named Thoondil and Sneha is working for Naan Avanillai and Pallikoodam. When both of them have completed their movies they will be involved in the shooting of this new movie which is planned for in the first week of May.

Karthik will direct the movie Vande Mataram and the movie is to be made in Tamil and Malayalam at the same time. Sneha will do the role of the female lead and the role is for a pilot and Mammootty will be doing the male lead role in the movie.
The movie is to be produced by Henry under Pankaj Films banner. Karthik was an assistant director to veteran Maniratnam. Vande Mataram is the title for the Malayalam movie and there are discussions whether the Tamil will also have the same title.

Silambattam will have Sneha in a prominent lead role with Simbu. The movie is to be produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers India Limited. As per the story, the movie has two heroines. The producer has mentioned that Sneha will be one of the heroines in the movie.
Sneha was supposed to act in the film Kaalai, but she was not able to sign due to call sheet problem. But she feels she has got another opportunity to act as heroine of Simbu in Silambattam.
