BW: How was it working in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru?

Vikram: Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru is my first film. It has been a wonderful experience and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. It is a fun subject. Not only the script and the movie was fun, but also the team was fun to work with. Each and every day and every moment of working with the team was enjoyable and I will cherish this for ever.

How did you get this offer?

Acting has always remained my passion and ambition. My uncle works with K S Ravikumar and I expressed to him about my desire to act. Through a friend of my uncle, I met Nandini Madam. That’s when she was auditioning for Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru and I took the test. She liked what I performed and felt I was apt for the character. That’s how I landed in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru and I am happy to be here.

Working with Ajmal?

It was nice working with Ajmal. He is very friendly and cooperative. He gave me tips to face camera as I am a new comer.

Did you dub for yourself for Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru ?

No, as it is my first film and I needed to learn a lot about voice modulation etc. I did not dub but will do so from my next film.

About director Nandini?

She is a very good director. The credit of bringing the acting skills from me and Ajmal goes completely to her. Although I could relate a lot to the character Archana, there were some things which were brought out from me by Nandini. I am very happy and grateful to her.

About working with veteran Mouli?

The moment Mouli sir steps into the frame, it will be refreshing and delightful. He is a brilliant actor and his sense of timing especially in the comedy segment is amazing. In combination scenes with him, I tend to respond to him naturally. He passed on the good vibes to us and that's what a good actor does. It was pleasure working with Mouli sir. He gave us many tips on film making. In short he is a very nice and humble person.

commercial actress "

What kind of roles are you looking for?

I don’t have any such set ideas. It is important for me to know about the strength of my character in a film. I don’t want to be identified as a commercial actress. I want to be known as a good actress. I am looking forward to do good subjects and good roles.

Have you accepted any new films?

No, not yet. I am waiting for the release of Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru so that people will get an idea of my capabilities. Meanwhile if I get some good script, I will definitely take it up.

Do you have any language barrier?

No. Entire film making is an art. Art is beyond languages and I am open to any language. It depends on good script, good director and good banner and not the language.

" Film making is an art "

About music in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru?

Mani Sharma is the music director in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru. You would have usually heard kuthu paattu and commercial songs from him but in this film, he has scored music in line with the script which is a light hearted subject. It will be very different from his usual style. There are four songs and a theme one. All of them are refreshing and light.
